До 16  травня  2014  року  триває   прийом   заявок  на   черговий  щорічний  конкурс  за  Програмою  імені Фулбрайта  для   студентів  старших  курсів  та  випускників     вищих  навчальних  закладів.

Програма  пропонує   навчання  в  американських   університетах  від  одного   до  двох  років  на  здобуття  ступеня  магістра. Кандидати   повинні  мати   щонайменше  диплом  бакалавра  на   час  призначення   стипендії.

Вимоги до кандидатів:
- мати українське громадянство та проживати в Україні на час проведення конкурсу
- володіти англійською мовою на рівні достатньому для професійного спілкування в англомовному академічному середовищі
- мати щонайменше диплом бакалавра на час призначення стипендії (у серпні 2014 р.)
- повернутись в Україну на 2 роки після завершення терміну гранту відповідно до вимог візи J-1, яку отримують учасники програм обмінів

IIASA’s annual 3-month Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) offers research opportunities to talented young researchers whose interests correspond with IIASA’s ongoing research on issues of global environmental, economic and social change. From June through August accepted participants work within the Institute’s research programs under the guidance of IIASA scientific staff. Funding is provided through IIASA's National Member Organizations.

The Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) provides a unique opportunity for participants to:

advance their research under the direct supervision of an experienced IIASA scientist, and at the same time contribute to IIASA’s ongoing scientific agenda;
broaden their research interests by working in IIASA’s interdisciplinary and international research environment;
build contacts with IIASA’s worldwide network of collaborators and with other YSSP fellows;
have an opportunity to present their research at a designated summer workshop.The program offers a wide range of scientific events, including both social and natural sciences, often with important policy dimensions. An optional curriculum helps students put their research into perspective and adds a practical edge.
Since the beginning of the Program in 1977, 1724 participants from 84 countries have benefited from collaborating with IIASA's scholars and enhanced their own perspectives and career opportunities.

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promote capacity building within organisations in 50 countries by providing training and education through fellowships for professionals. The NFP is initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation.

A new phase of the NFP (NFP II) started on 1 July 2013. This new phase leads to policy changes which have an impact on procedures and criteria.

New application and selection procedures apply starting with the deadline of October 2014.
There is one fellowship application deadline per year for PhD. This deadline is in October.
The country list has been reduced (this change was already effective starting with the 1 October 2013 fellowship application deadline).
More information on the new procedures for the October 2014 deadline and onwards, and other changes with regard to NFP II, will be made available in mid 2014.

The overall aim of the NFP is to help increase both the number and the competencies of skilled staff at a wide range of governmental and non-governmental organisations. You have to be nominated by your employer to be eligible for the fellowship. There also has to be a clear need for training within the context of your organisation.

University of Groningen Eric Bleumink Fund, the Netherlands

Open to: academically excellent applicants from developing countries

University of Groningen The Eric Bleumink Fund awards scholarships to talented students and young researchers from developing countries. Such scholarships enable them to further develop as individuals and to make important contributions to the development of their own countries.

Since 2000, the year the fund was started, the EBF has handed out over 40 scholarships. This means more than 40 young, ambitious and very talented people were able to follow an additional study at the University of Groningen. Here they were introduced to an academic culture, libraries and international contacts they are often lacking in their homeland.

The grant is awarded for a 1 year or 2 years Master’s degree programme at the University of Groningen. The grant covers tuition fee, costs of international travel, subsistence, books, and health insurance. Please note that a considerable number of students apply for this scholarship each year, whereas the University can issue only a limited number of grants.

До 15 января 2014. Союз молодых ученых и специалистов Евразии при поддержке Научного совета РАНпо комплексным проблемам евразийской экономической интеграции, модернизации, конкурентоспособности и устойчивому развитию объявляет о начале приема заявок для участия в Международном конкурсе «Лучший молодой ученый Евразии-2013». Конкурс проводится с целью поощрения наиболее талантливых молодых ученых Евразии, внесших значимый вклад в развитие фундаментальной и прикладной науки.

В Конкурсе могут принимать участие молодые ученые до 35 лет включительно (на момент подачи документов), работающие на постоянной основе в вузах и научных учреждениях и являющиеся гражданами России, Беларуси, Украины, Казахстана, Кыргызстана, Таджикистана, Армении. По решению Дирекции Союза молодых ученых и специалистов Евразии, в 2013 году Конкурс проводится в области экологии по четырем номинациям: три основные номинации «Экология природы», «Экология общества», «Экология человека» и дополнительная номинация «Лучший молодой ученый Евразии в области экологии, работающий за рубежом».
